“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way” with this perspective SVV conducted the M R Pai foundation Leadership Camp on 2nd & 3rd July

  1. Mr Vivek Patki and Mr Rajiv Luv from Mumbai came to take training sessions for the students of Class IX and Class XII on communication skills, self esteem, goal setting, self management, time management and team work.

A total 90 students from 4 different schools of Surat region including SVV participated in this Leadership Camp. All students enjoyed the informative sessions and were awarded by certificate of participation. SVV is thankful to M. R. Pai Foundation and Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai for sponsoring this kind of events at SVV premises.


Sharad Sagar CEO of Dexterity Global (DG) is an Indian youth icon globally and a 21st century leader whose word and work in the field of education and public service are inspiring young generation. On 20st July, 2018 SVV got the opportunity to invite this eminent motivational speaker to inspire our students. It was indeed a unique experience for every one present over there. Mr. Sharad revealed his struggle of life and how bravely he faced it and become the motivational guru. He taught our students to live life with full of positive attitude without having ego and over-confidence. SVV is really owed to have “The Vivekananda of 21st Century” in our premises.


The main aim of SVV is to promote education with a holistic approach and to develop multifaceted individuals. The aim of Debate Competition at SVV to nurture the current generation of budding speakers and skilled sculptors of words to exhibit their views, ideas, thoughts, and opinions for a better present and a brighter future. SVV Interschool Debate Competition was successfully organised on          26th July 2018 for the sixth consecutive year. Total 16 best schools of Surat region participated in the battle of words. The students enthusiastically put forth their views by speaking for and against the topic “IS TECHNOLOGY MAKING US MORE ALONE?” The team of SVV with Aakansha Dwivedi and Sneha Gupta bagged the first position.


Students always remain keen to showcase their talent and skill to compete the challenging competitions. Oratory is an art. In ‘CMA FREEDOM CUP DEBATE’ DIYA PATEL (X B) bagged the 3rd position for the motion. It was organised by Chanderbala Modi Academy and held at Footwear Designing & Development Institute, (FDDI), GIDC, Ankleshwar on 21st August, 2018.


Shree Vasishtha Vidhyalaya celebrated ‘Prakrit! Mahotsav’ (Tree Plantation) on 18 August 2018 in its premises. In order to make the generations to come more sensitive and concerned about their environment and to reinforce positive attitude and values towards preserving it. The concern teachers along with students planted trees’ and gave the martyrs name to those trees’. Our Principal Dr. A K Gaur encouraged students to preserve trees which play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance. He added that it is the responsibility of every one of us to not only grow trees but also take care and protect them utmost interest.

Principal Dr A K Gaur attended an International conference “Mussoorie Mountain Festival-2018” hosted by the Henifl Centre, Woodstock School, Mussoorie from 15-17 March 2018. He also attended the 47th Annual Conference of National Progressive Schools Conference (NPSC) held on 16th- 17th Feb 2018 at India International Centre, New Delhi

Vice-Principal Mr. S. K. Verma attended Regional Summit of School Principals on ‘Guidance Based School Education the Emerging Concept’ on 2nd August, 2018 at Essar International School, Surat.

Academic Supervisors Mrs Rashmi Sohanta and Mr. Nitin Patil attended in Capacity Building Programme on “Classroom Management” held on 28th and 29th August, 2018 at SGPS, Ankleshwar.

Academic Supervisors Mrs Archana Singh and Mrs Vinita Kadwane attended Remodelled Structure of Assessment workshop on 27th August, 2018 at RMG, Ladvi, Surat.

Mr Mithun Choubey and Mr Jay Shiv Sharma attended a workshop of facilitators on Awakened Citizen Program on 24th and 25th July, 2018, held in Ahmedabad. This workshop was Organized by Ramkrishna Mission.


School Enterprise Challenge (SEC) is a global business competition lead by an organization ‘Teach a man to fish’. It has a global existence in 93 countries and governs from its head office at Finsbury Park, London (U.K.). Since 2015 SEC is assisting our students every year to learn how to handle a real business and make them understand the concept of it. This session our team will be coming with ‘Aromatic Candles’. Shree Vasishtha Vidhyalaya organizing various programs on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti every year to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation. This year an innovative event CHANGE 150 SESSION organized on 1st October 2018. The purpose of this event was to inspire the students to think for the good service of the society. Students were given a postcard to write their own creative ideas on the topic- How to fulfill the dreams of father of our nation? Those post cards have been sent to the organizing group i.e. Letter Farms, Kochi, Kerela & its website SVV believes that students’ creative idea related to Mahatma Gandhi’s ideology will certainly help to make our world a better place to live in!


The annual excursion to Mahableswar & Imagica was organized by SVV for the students of class 12 in this academic session. The motto of this trip was to enrich the students thought and take learning beyond the four walls of the classrooms. This trip was scheduled for 3 Days & 4 Nights. On 30th September & 1st October everybody enjoyed Nature’s mesmerizing beauty at Mahableswar & Panchgani and on 2nd October we all headed to Adlabs Imagica (Mumbai) where students & teachers engrossed completely in the thrilling experience at Theme Park. Total 110 students along with teachers enjoyed this trip. Every one enjoyed each & every moment of this trip, it was really a treasured experience for everyone.

  • First Position in Surat District in Khel Mahakumbh in the year 2016-17. Received a memento and a prize of Rs. 1,50,000/- for the school by The Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Vijay Rupani. Students also got a cash prize of Rs. 2,87,250/- in various games.
  • Second Position in Surat District in Khel Mahakumbh in the year 2017-18. Received a memento and a prize of Rs. 1,00,000/- for the school. Students also got a cash prize of Rs. 2,55,000/- in various games.
  • First Position in Surat District in Khel Mahakumbh in the year 2018-19. Received a memento and a prize of Rs. 1,50,000/- for the Students also got a cash prize of Rs. 4,54,000/- in various games.
